Understanding specific needs for effective staff protection from biorisks from the perspectives of different disciplines or sectors;

•Achieving a comprehensive view on available options when conceiving an occupational safety system for different scenarios (including barrier management, distancing measures, use of personal protective equipment, hygiene and disinfection, pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis, …);

•Understanding potentials and limitations of basic protective equipment for infectious diseases of high consequence (coverall, goggles, FFP-respirator, gloves and boots as specified in ECDC's tutorial on safe use of PPE);

•Developing the ability to provide appropriate guidance to frontline staff for occupational safety and health issues in different scenarios on basis of a systematic risk assessment which includes analyses of the working environment and of the planned activities.
